Specifications
The radial shockwave device is a compressed air acoustic pulse wave generator. The acoustic pulse waves are generated with a precision ballistic mechanism in the handpiece. When the projectile (accelerated in the handpiece by compressed air) strikes the pulse transmitter (tip of the handpiece), its kinetic energy is converted into acoustic energy. These acoustic energy pulses are then transmitted into the tissue to be treated with the help of an oil or gel.
